I'm currently considering making a Dark Mechanicus army using Nurgle Deamons and having these guys representing Plaguebearers. (replacing the lasgun weapon with a sword)
I'd only be using around 30 of them in an army made of GW models, but I was wondering on wheather or not I would encounter any problems using them in a GW store or at a tournament at Warhammer World (not the GT) It's just that some of Micro Art stuff is designed for 40k (such as the Orks range and these guys being clearly mechanicus) so I'm a little confused about if I would have any trouble using this army at a GW store?
What do you think?
what do you use them as?
For get your Mr T, John Mayer leaks pure awesomeness with every note he plays.
In store? Depends on the manager's mood .
Any tournament that is an official GW event has the 'models must be 50% GW' rule.
But thats not what I'm worried about I've got a local club however my friend doesn't and it will be up to his store manager on if I can use them or not. The event I'll take them too is ran by the gaming club network not GW.
I'd really doubt that they'd let it go at GWHQ. Even in a store is questionable. They are meant to be show-cases for GW models, not a competitor's.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
I've had no problems using Reaper minis in GW stores before.
Haven't played in a GT with my fantasy army yet though...
And hell, those guys look like customized Eldar Rangers
So doubt they'd say anything....
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)
Tbh, I'd just ask. What's the worst that could happen? Will they charge you double for figures in future? Will they banhammer you from the store? If they seriously do, it probably isn't worth showing up over.
And, of course, if they say yes, all is fine and dandy. Though if you get a friend to ask, you could have room to get away with using Pixie's method.
