At the moment i have got the AoBR box set and am thinking of doing a space marine and ork armies, because i love the armies and models. However i also have a chaos army half started but i really like the warhammer armies as well, so i suppose what i am saying is what should i do? should i continue the chaos army and just keep admiring or should i decide to pick up a warhamemr army as well, but then theres the problem that i wouldnt really have anyone to play against but i am trying to get into gw as there is finally one opening where i live.
Back on topic what should i do, and if i did pick up a fantasy what army would be good considering i have no idea about this, but im not a great painter so either a low model count/cheapish would be good because i don't get too much money which is why this is a problem. also an army with really awesome looking models like the chaos knights etc or the dark elves corsairs or whatever there called so please help!
One option is to paint the AoBR Marines as if they were pre heresy Chaos Space Marines (matching your existing half army). Then you could have both a Chaos army and half a Space Marine army with only the models you already own.
unfortunately, not being harsh towards you or anything nor am i trying to be difficult but i don't think that will work because i have already painted half of the spacemarines as Howling Griffons and my chaos are as red corsairs as i love their fluff and look sorry but thanks anyway rep 2 you
well do you know of any red and yellow chequered knwn traitor companies as what could i do to make them slightly different to howling griffons, as i am kind of writing a story about a splinter group that breaks of from the griffons, so i could use that as fluff plus it would be a lot cheaper seeing as i wouldnt have to buy the new space marine codex if i didnt want to, but would they be allwoed to have drop pods or is that purely space marine
Your using red corsairs? Problem solved! The red corsairs use traitors from all different chhapters to bolster their ranks.

Fenrir: and magic.

ok but i really want to do another army thats my problem i will have by go at that and hopefully it will work i just need some actual chaos marines frst though lol but should i do a warhammer army or go for a guard army cos they look frikkin sweet but then so do some of the warhammer armies because i also like their styles, but something about the new valkyries really wants me to have another go at guard cos its just dynamic but itl be kind of the same as the other armies in such as stand and shoot kind of thing, are there any other 40k armies that are dynamic, easyish to paint and use
Pick an army you like to play, and stick with it. Most armies have some awesome looking models and I can totally understand the want to get them all, but you will honestly regret having parts of several different armies and not being a steadfast player with one.
I stay stick with either marines and chaos and finish the army, learning how to play them well, before moving on.
I used to have a full fledged 5000pt Ultramarine force but I got so tired of painting everything blue so I got to play with them since I was about 10 to 1 year ago so about 4 years worth of playing with them, so I may just use the AoBR space Marines as Chaos as well for better functionality.
I also used to have a Guard army of about 2000pt but that just got boring to play as as I only had a little money so I only had the same units in out and I used the same tactic every time and I won stand and shoot turn 4 move in on objectives so thats the only thing putting me off guard.
So I may just stick to Chaos and Orks for now until I get used to them, Orks Im kind of looking forward to just for the pure fact that there like Tyranids but when they shoot it'l either be disasterously good or disasterously bad, and its that is why I fell in love with Orks, so thanks for the advice rep for you! If I can work out how to do it
