If you're patient and careful you can buy those for $3-5 on ebay. That's how I fleshed out some of my ranks after buying some hodgepodge auctions that left me with some oddly numbered squads. The biggest problem is that if you buy a lot of these you lose out on the heavy weapons that come with the 8man and 10man sets (although most of those just come with a heavy bolter).
I refuse to buy marines for more than $1/model, it is just far too easy to get them at that price for me to pay anything higher than that(a lot of the time you can buy them at $0.30-$0.60 if you buy pre-assembled/poorly painted lots, and a lot of the time you get bits along with it).

I was actually thinking of possible conversions for this squad, like making it a sommand squad of a sort. Space marines have a command squad with the leader and a standard bearer, sometimes a special weapons guy, and whatever else. Thats why i was thinking, why don't CSM's have a command squad?
