I'm debating as to if I should download the new blood bowl (right here: http://bloodbowl.nexway.com/index2.h...671981&Cur=840) , or get the army maker by the wolf lair company. I expect most of you to say the army maker, but if I don't get it I'll probably get it in a month or two. So I was wondering what your thoughts were on the subject matter?
P.S: I probably wouldn't seriously use the army maker for anything, but I would play around and It would help me with the rules some. If you were wondering, I do have excel.

Firstly, Army Builder by Lone Wolf will not help you with rules, because it doesn't have them in the data files (copyright). Secondly, it's a lot more useful than any Excel file will ever be, it's useful for more than an individual army or even just GW games.
As for downloading Bloodbowl...meh.

Army Builder, hands down. But it won't help you with rules. More often than not, the 'rules' for special rules in the army list builder will just say "See page 20, Codex: Space Marines" or whatever. It depends from army to army, data file to data file.
But even so, Army Builder is invaluable when you want to tinker with lists and experiment with that fits in your army.
Never used an army building program in my life. Each of my armies has a folder that goes with it, any back story, good games and all army lists are wrote in it. Never seen the need for anything else.

Well, I didn't really mean the rules but rather just an understanding of lists and the point system. Right now I'm kind of thinking Blood Bowl now army builder later, but Im still not quite as sure as I want to be.. I've read the reviews for Blood Bowl and it seems that its an almost exact mirror of the tabletop, and when it comes to it it has really good turn-based gameplay. Hmm, its quite hard to choose...
Well, I finally broke down and bought blood bowl.It was too hard to resist!
Well, I played the game and personally I don't like it, $50 down the drain
