So for the third time here I'm posting a thread about the warbands campaign the gaming club is starting up (kicking off this saturday). And I'm torn between my WE and my Skaven . Here's the lists and It'd be nice to have you guys decide (I'll make a quick poll, why not) but anyway here's the lists
20 clanrats (no champ, FC)
Warp lightning cannon
branchwraith- annoyance of nettlers (the hit on 6's one)
2X5 Dryads (hammer, wraith goes with one)
6 Glade Guard
2X Treekin (anvil)
4X Waywatchers (scout marchblock distraction, warmarchine hunter)

Do you happen to have any idea of the selections of those you'll be battling against?
I personally quite like the Wood Elf minis and would pick them, but I'm guessing you equally like your Skaven and thus your dilemma.
I really have no idea which would be more effective but I just thought I'd pose my question in case it helps you decide (or helps others who want to give advice...)
Submit to the desire.
Everyone has the Waaagh inside them.

Hey, go with the Wood Elves. Skaven are going to be super popular very soon, and I think you'll have a lot of fun with the mobility of the WE in warbands, as well as the toughness of the Treekin.
Daemons: Skulltaker, unit of B-letters, 4 flamers with a pyro caster
Dwarfs: Thane (dunno what he has), 10 longbeards with GW, 5 quarellers, 10 thunderers, organ gun
Tomb kings: 3 units of skellies, SSC, couple carrion
Orcs & Goblins: 2 units of 20 Night goblins, 4Xfanatics, 2 lvl 2 goblin sorcerer, 2 units of wolf riders, and a doom diver catapult (think its over but not going to argue with a friend
Beastmen: just know its minotaur heavy
Empire: 2 master engineers on mech steeds, 13 handgunners, 15 swordsmen, volley gun (this list is illegal as the characters combined cost exceeds 150, but thats being dealt with)
Well, that's all I know so far, but I hope it helps.
Wood Elves really excel at small games. Shooting can take maximum effect. Dryads are great. You can go all core, slap an eagle in there, and a decent hero and do consistently well. And you will almost always outmanouver the enemy.
