Out of the choices of the new rulebook or box set which one is a better buy. I have been playing for a few years, so maybe the big book would be better. I would just like to know if the box set rules are sufficent compared to the standalone book.

box set rules? You talking about the rules they pack with the "Battle of Macragge" (or whatever its called) box set? The big book would probably be better in the long run if the book that comes with the box is a little abbreviated to get people playing faster. They might only have rules that would apply to situations with those two armies. The big book with cover it all. |

I'll probably get both. All the great scenery and templates and stuff in the box, then the more advanced rules and background info in the standalone book... They make it a hard choice.
