I was wondering if anyone could provide some good painting tips/help on marauder faces, the helms make it difficult to get in there and i don't want to muck it up.
1. Paint them first, then the helms.
2. Use a basecoat/wash combo. You don't need to many highlights.
3. Practise. Paint lots of them.

Yep, Artificially Enhanced has it right-
Always paint from the deepest recess to the highest point, no matter what you're painting. So do the face to it's completeness, then carefully paint the helmet around it.
Use a wash- find flesh tone that's just a bit lighter than you actually want it to be, and then find an ink that's a bit darker than you actually want the face to be. Paint down the flesh, let it dry, then paint on the ink very lightly. It'll run down into the deepest parts of the face, and into the corner around the helmet to look like shadows.
This should be in the painting section.
