What do you guys use to jot down you armies?
Good old pen&paper or more modern instruments like Army Builder?
- Just love that maki! -
I use pen and paper. Sometimes if I think it may be changed often I use Word.
I like sitting down with a copy of the Army Book and a calculator. Only really use Army Builder for when I'm critiquing people's army lists.
i don't have army builder yet, however, I am considering getting it. But for now i enjoy pen+paper and a calculator.
...and you do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around, thats what its all about.
I've used everything from Army Builder to crayons on a pizza box lid. While I prefer AB, I'll use whatever's handy.
And there definitely is something soothing about digging out the old paper, pencil and calculator to spend some quality time with your codex/army book!
Paper and Pen or Excel Spreadsheet.
Spreadsheet is very handy for slotting premade units together to make a list.
Arch Overfiend & Grand Despot
I currently play:
Doom Eagle Space Marines
Hive Fleet Omega Tyranids
Goff Ork Boyz(dead)
Tau of O'me
Inquisitorial Xeno Hunters
and my attempted foray into fantasy
'Dark Angel Green' Dark Elves in need of fluff
I use word, I am thinking about getting army builder. But I am dettered from the few mistakes I have seen it make with other people's lists and the fact it ruins the experiance of doing the math in the head and doing all the research ect.
