Winning at any cost, no matter how cheesy my army is!
Winning is great, but I still want people to play against me after the battle.
Win or lose I don't care, so long as it was a fun time!
Whats most important to you? Winning at any cost; winning and still having fun while doing it, and not ruining friendships; Or just straight out having fun?
I just ask as I have seen people playing completely self-destructive armies, and they are simply reveling in the pure carnage they are causing to both sides, while some people use dual lash princes and don't care that no one ever wants to play them again.
Me, while I LOVE winning, I also like playing again, so I definitely want to have fun, make friends, and win, but if I lose, hey, I came away with something.
I've always hated it when people 'advise' me on army lists going "TAKE THIS! TAKE IT NAO AND RULE THE WORLD!"
Well, no. Where's the fun in that?
I like a nice, fun, themetic challenge. And to the opponents who've complained I'm using crappy units - it's even funnier if I win!
Even if I don't? It's all good!
I play for the tactical fun and a good social thingy too. I like to play a variety of things.
I always find it amusing when people infer I *must* be a beardy gamer, I never understood that. I admit - a lot of unusual things happen in my battles, I seem to have an interesting affect on dice - and no, I don't weight or alter my dice in any way - I'm a collector, so defacing a dice is anethema to me. Much like books. I've been accused of cheating, lying and using 'filthy' units after unusual bouts of combat, magic or anything really. Such as winning close combat with Dark Elf Crossbowmen - because I had a full command so the Musician won it for me. Or casting a spell on four dice and getting a double 6... and a double 1. Wardancers that get shivved up during combat and consistantly roll 6s on armour saves over two rounds of combat.
Chaos smiles on my dice, lol!
I have a 'rainbow' build Wood Elf Army, a dark elf army built around a sorcerous coven, a beastmen army that won't use minotaurs - they're too good now! Tomb Kings I have scarce amount, not enough to play wth - but having fun converting bits! Full close combat tyranid army in red and black even though I don't know the rules - I just think they're shiny
I'm an... interesting opponent
Fantasy: Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Beastmen and Tomb Kings.
LotR: Misty Mountains and Rohan
Having fun and hopefully getting comments on my army =D. Has happened before and that was rather a while ago, considering I haven't played in a few years. I theme my armies so the competetiveness of them is usually lacking a little and they're often unbalanced so I never really expect to win, but pulling off the occational unlikely kill with a flurry of dice is one of the things which makes me want to play again .
Winning is great, but I still want people to play against me after the battle. That's what i choose, and i am always happy to give advice on people who regularly ask me for advice on how to improve their lists. But i only care about three things when playing a game: fair play, fun and winning . Making friends is after playing a game, so don't think i didn;t include that too! ^^.
I play for the fun winning is just a nice bonus! If im at a tournament my attitude is different i play to solely win then of course.
I must say some of the bets games i can remember i lost! I still however loved them!
One tournament i played for fun i came dead last but it was still a great weekend.
"Should take you a while though because of your sloth like pace"

i allways tell myself that im here just for the Coolness of fielding a bunch of knights, but when i finish an armylist i see i ditched out half of the good looking fellas just to make my list work better =\
Warchief Diggah o da Bloodmoon Squiggahs
I play for fun which is just as well cos I never win! I'd like to win now and again as it's wearing me down being tabled every single game but one day...
I generally play for fun, I don't normally plan an army and set out to make it, I'll juyst buy some of what seems fun and take it from there. The only army I fully planned out was my empire army which is 2k points and has a lot of warrior priests, flagellants and free company as well as some great swords with 2 handed hammers and swordsmen with 1 handed hammers. It's not a greatly competitive list but I can have a lot of fun with my fanatical nutters.
There has to be at least one person here that plays to win!
Nope, not that they're wanting to admit it.
