What is the Harlequin Wraithlord called? I encountered a different name for it other than Wraithlord in long time pass when I surfed the net for fluff stuff. I think it is called Shadowlord. Can someone confirm with me?
I don't remember what it was called during Rouge Trader, but it was removed in the experimental Harlequin 3rd ed. army list. So, just Harlequin Wraithlord perhaps?
In current fluff I don't think its even possible for the harlequins to have wraithlords, as they don't wear waystones to trap their spirit when they die. Their soul already belongs to the laughing god and so they don't fear being tormented in the warp for ever.
I thought of having Harlequin Wraithlords because I heard that they had unique weaponry not used by the Wraithlords of the Eldar Craftworlds, and was fluffy too. If you want I can search up on what type of weaponry it was, because I can't recall at the moment.
I did some digging and found an interesting discussion on the issue:
Harlequin wraithlord fluff
What you're thinking of might have been a spiritwalker or ghostwarrior.
They found a fluffy reason why harlequins could have wraithlords - The wraithlord could join the harlequins as a wraithlord rather than die a harlequin and become a wraithlord.
There's also some scary rogue trader fluff with the harlequins using a looted land raider
