as topic said. this cant be true. One gamesday for entire north america? GW better pay my airfare or gas and room and board. Those damn Redcoats are getting enough of my money and now they want me to drive from LA to maryland? i say not you damn limey! (Derogatory terms are used solely at the GW staff who decided to make this decision and not toward any other British person or person of british descent)
It seems a bit daft for a country the size of the US...but the decision could well have been taken by an American member of staff...

The decision was probably made by coordinating with American staff too, watch the language.
Really don't know what to say as GW announced this news MONTHS AGO! I think I found out September 2009? from a red shirt too. So you can be mad but you have obviously missed something. And if you live in LA you should have like 10 GW stores to go to. How did you not know? I live in WI and go to school in MN, between the 2 states there are 2 stores. Chill out.
And again old news. You could look on GW's site or this forum and they show the Games Day model and that was after they said they were cutting back the Games Day's in North America. It should have been some what obvious as they canceled the tournaments at Games Day's last year.
Repainting Orks not sure how many points yet
Warriors of Chaos shelved until further notice
If I recall correctly they've also canceled the Grand Tournament for this Games Day as well, that's the one thing I was sort of bummed about. The lack of Games Day locations was pretty bad for some, I can't complain, Maryland isn't out of driving distance from where I live. I suppose in these economic hard times this really isn't such a massive crime so long as it doesn't become a permanent change, I'll try to be patient.
