hmmmm...didnt know there was a BB pc game out there... :shifty:
ne who, before this topic slips into oblivion, i have one more comment to make.
my wife, who lets me play not too often, told me that if i got the pc version that i would no longer need the table top version...lol...
i told her that it was simply a variant that i could play and not the real thing. she argued the point with me until she ultimatly said that i could have one or the other...ugh!(i'll get it ne way  )but i guess my point is this; i will not let it interfere with my future gaming and i know that i am hard core when it comes to my ork models. i just think it is a sell out in a way for games workshop becuase the table top models are so unique that it may despirit future players...but by reading everyones posts on it(they differ from my perspective)it may ultimatly not do that in the end.
thanks for everyones thoughts.. (Y)

My Girlfriend was round my house when i was watching the DoW demo i got from GW, she saw it , i told her about some of the races, and now she collects Tyranids........

So if you look at it like that, if my Gf can just get into i t just like that then its bound to attract more players..

Hopefully the DoW game will open some eyes in the pc gaming community and more and better games will come out. Personally I'm glad they killed the online warhammer because it seemed a useless idea. There was no content in that mmorpg that you couldn't get elsewhere. With DoW and similar rts's (and hopefully some turn based) in 40k universe such as Battlefleet Gothic (god I hope so&#33 they can offer unique gameplay to those of us that enjoy both genres. Long live table top gaming and Long live PC gaming! And may the 2 forever meet!!

The game is not going to take away potential players. If anything its going to attract them, i've seen it happen already. I've had a MTG player play the beta for DoW and now he's starting a Crimson Fists Army, and we have also had 2 or 3 people just randomly come in to our shop and ask about it. I think its going to increase the amount of players.
