Most people know about Andy Chambers leaving GW by now. He went on to found a company, Red Star Games, which most of you also know about. But he just recently released details on his first major project: a tabletop wargame based on Starship Troopers!
What a crazy monkey. Have to keep an eye on that project.
Red Star games huh? I never pegged him for a commie *****, but his page is loaded with Stalinist symbolism. But, hey, so is the California state flag... Weird.
Anyhow, I'll take a look at this game, but I'm not holding out any kind of high hopes. Most of the games that Chambers designs are heavily flawed until a couple of editions later, but maybe he'll nail this one on the first try.
Think he makes some very valid points. Lets see what game system he comes up with and more importantly for me what minis are available.
So cool, i hope this puts a little compitition in the game market.
"Everyone should try arrogance, it's absolutely wonderful. You can go out, do whatever you want, and go home. And the best part is, no matter what you do, or how much you ***** everything up, nothing's ever your fault because 'thou art god'."
-Bernard M. Smith, the real Michael Smith and modern day Petronius

Better competition=Better prices? Go Andy, go!
