OK you know how it is, you order some new models, they arrive and you have a quick look at them before putting them in your desk draw to sort out later.
This is what I did with my Buzzgob model. However it has taken 3 months to take it out of the bag to start preping.
To my disapointment I noticed that the main body is mismoulded. After a quick email with some photos to FW they replied within 24 hours saying they will send another one
Cant beat customer service like that!
Same thing with privateer press. I bought a figure that was missing an arm and I had a replacement within 3 days.
I would say that they are supposed to do thinks like that. You cant sell crappy things even if its not your fault, you have to replase them.
Now on the 3 months thingie i guess they could have made an argument about that, but i guess thats good policy. Its nice to hear that sometimes corps care for their customers.
A friend of mine had a LR terminus pattern when it was firstly brought out.It had one sided lasscannons only.So he get it back to the retailer and he 'checked' if he could replace them.To tell a long story short he replaced it only because my friend was a good customer!!!
Needless to say we both order online only nowdays.
