I'm new to warhammer 40k and want to know were in the blood angels codex does it say sanguinary priest special ability to give a model six inches near it an armor save.
Can tell me the ability and what it does.
I'm trying to better understand sanguinary priest.
Its not an armor save, its a rule called "Feel No Pain" where if the model fails its armor save, and wasn't hit by an AP1, AP2, or a weapon with a strength double its toughness it gets to roll another save, the "Feel No Pain" save, which is a 4+ and if passed the model ignores the wound.
Me "You can't willingly run off the map"
-chaos berserker leaves map-
Friend "What now!"
Me "So, umm... is the game over?"
Power Weapons also. Or am I being dense and my 1000th posts gone to waste! O_o
I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
It's a universal special rule, page 75 in the small rulebook. Often shortened to FNP.
Guardsmen (5+) can't take armour saves against a Heavy Bolter (AP4), but since Marines (3+), Terminators (2+) and similar would still get their saves then it's still fair game for FnP.
