i've heard of an army list creator that you can dl for free online, someone told me about it and i forgot the link... its a program where you can print off cards that will say a units name, stats, costs, and a place for notes of special abilities... if i could get ahold of a copier then i'd just copy the cards out of the 3ed rulebook, but i can't... so anybody know of one? if so post it here, i need one for 40k!!

    good game <a href='http://kevan.org/brain.cgi?Potratz' target='_blank'>http://mistupid.com/stuff/whackbin.htm</a>

I will never understand the use of army builder software.
Just use the Codex and a calculator for f**** sake.
You get a list which has much more character, and is easier to remember.

If you want to make modifications to your list it is much easier on computer, just change bits. As wolf_pack says it validates the list to make it legal and the points are the correct amount, so you can&#39;t cheat accidentally or intentionally. It is quick and easy to use, it prints out stats so you don&#39;t have to keep looking them up or remember them... They are great.

Army builder is a downloadable one, the website is something like wolflair.com I think, just search for army builder in google.

Though that one is only a demo version.

Corianis: Yes, the old fashion way ^_^ (Y)
Though if I can make the whole thing easier I will use Army Builder

Plus you can print it out in a nice HTM version and that is very usefull.
You get all the things written down, stats, weapons etc and many of those other things.

    /Cheers :shifty:

I do my Army Lists in Microsoft Word with my trusty calculator at my side. The thing about Army Builder programs is that they go into too much detail. I like to keep my list to the bare minimals (i.e. unit name, equipment and cost) so that my opponent would not know too much when he inevitably looks at it.

There are ways to make it a full vertion without paying anything.

You can make the army list on army builder more simple v. easly

armybuilder gives you all the rules for evry army + forge world tanks/titans.

I do mine in Excel, I&#39;ve done it up from the start so that it counts up totals and adds in wargear costs.

And theres spaces for stat lines and such.

In page two, theres space for tanks and things.
And in three, space to add weapon stats for quick reference, other than your dex.

Failing that, I use pen, paper and my head =^__~=
