Hello, I'm wondering which is the top favorite game, I'm posting it here because I thought it would be better then posting one in LOTR, warhammer and 40k topics.
O & G: 5/0/1
Warhammer 40k....da only way to WAAAGH!...
Only game with propa Orks in it.
WAAAGH! da Orkz
"Da Orks is da best cuz we ar ded ard an killy, mean, green, krumpin machines, hav da most dakka, da stompiest dreads, da shootiest gunz, da biggest bosses, an we uze choppas...WAAAGH!"
Warhammer is the most fun to play but..........who can resist space marines? Id say warhammer 40k is my fav.
Peter-"You gonna eat that stapler?"
Office worker-"Uhh sir you cant eat-"
Peter-"Wanna split it?...."
I am still only beggining to play WH 40k but I believe that doesn't relieve me of my right to vote
I personaly think that WH40k is the most original of the games out there ...
the ork with axe in one hand and a super futuristic gun in other - the WH40k is the only way to see it ...

Sorry, my choice isn't an option. I love the little-played but very tactical, cost-effective and balanced game of Battlefleet Gothic.
Space battles -- especially those utilizing believably realistic naval rules -- flat out rock!
However, if I can't vouch for my beloved BFG in your poll, I will have to go with WH 40k since the 41st millenium provides the setting of any of GW's games.
Sorry, I meant "the 41st millenium provides the BEST setting of any of GW's games."
Just wanted to add something interesting...
If you'll scroll down on the main forum links page for LO, you'll notice that the Warhammer 40k sections have over 10 times more posts than the Warhammer forums.
So, question is: Are LO posters just rabid 40k enthusiasts, or is this indicative of the changing fanbase for GW games? Warhammer may be older, but is it a lot less popular than 40k these days?
P.S. In response to sigismund's query "who can resist space marines"...I CAN! Down with the Space Marines! Down with the Imperium! Eat their brains...and such...
Dude by far it is WH40k, the best game in the series, well modelwise at least, It's frickin awesome, Im bout to have a 2v2 game in a few hours!
Dude, Check out these amazing Ebay Deals!!
Gotta give it to 40k. Orcs and elves with guns?

Yes, 40k is far more popular than fantasy these days. And there are a lot more LO players that are into 40k. Its a combination of both. So, question is: Are LO posters just rabid 40k enthusiasts, or is this indicative of the changing fanbase for GW games? Warhammer may be older, but is it a lot less popular than 40k these days?
I only just started BFG, but it is a great game by the looks of it. It seems very balanced, easy to understand, cheaper to buy an army than other things, and it requires a lot of tactics unlike 40k. Since I've only played one game I can't really judge it as the best, but I agree it is fantastic.
For me it is a choice between 40k and fantasy, I love a 3000 point fantasy game but not smaller battles. In 40k all sizes are great but the battles aren't as challenging as fantasy and I'm still undecided about my opinion on the new rules...
