This was a question brought up over at c'tan support group , and I just want you peaople over hera at LO to also answer!
So How Much money have you spent in this gamè(w40k, fantasy, battlefleet gothic...)?
Signature? What signature?
I have honestly lost track! A rough estimate is probably over $800 - $1000 dollars, easy! I have over 4000 points of Chaos Marines and about 2500 points of Lizardmen. Not to mention paint and glue plus I bought some units for a friend of mine.Originally Posted by mirakel_jocke
I dread to even try and work out how much I have spent over the years. I have been playing for around 15 years (I remember when some blister packs had 5 models for £2.50, which was a looooong time ago).
My chaos army to date has probably cost me about £400, my dark elves around £500 and my orc and goblin army is so big I am not even going to attempt to put a cost to it.
I also have several thousand points worth of dark angels that set me back probably another few hundred quid. I also have a ridiculous sized epic army (wasn't that expensive though as at the time it was a quite cheap game). I have 2 fleets for man o war which probably cost about £100 between the two.
In all I have spent thousands of pounds and countless hours building and painting models.
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
A ton of money. A lot of my guys were Christmas gifts, but I'll count those anyway. Hmmm...
About $310, now that I think about it. And then theres like $70 spent on random paints. Most of this wasn't my own money being spent, though, my parents are funding this hobby. The only problem is that I have to follow their rules... I'm pretty much broke anyway, though, so I'm willing to.
I have purchased about 25 back issues of White Dwarf, every 40k codex there is, several BFG fleets, some back issues of BFG magazine, the BFG starter set, all my paints, brushes, green stuff, flock, static grass, tweezers, sculpting tool, various glues, replacement stands, several minis from 40k races I never pursued, some Black Library books, the 40k Rulebook, and two full 40k armies (Eldar and Tyranids). All told, I would estimate I've spent upwards of $2000.
Quite the addiction we have here - at least its better than drugs.
Over seven years easily a couple of thousand euro. Somewhere between ten and fifteen......

Way way way too much i have an eldar (4500pt) and ork (40k)(2000pt) armys, soo i would say at bout £800 - £900 easy prob a lot more. *mumbles* damn super heavy tanks.
Around £110 on my Empire army
I don't even want to know how much I've spent on my guardsmen.
6 infantry boxes (at old prices) £90
1 HQ Boxed set: £15
1 Chimera: £18
1 Sentinel: £10
1 Cadian Sentinel: £12
2 Leman Russ: £40
Imperial XIV Corps:
22nd Emperor's Rangers- 0%
291st Catachan- 0%
2nd Naval Regiment- 0%
I dont even want to know exactly, but probally around $1000-$1500 and i have only been collecting for like 3 years. i dont think warhammer (40k, mordihiem ect.) is worth every penny but is sure is fun to play/collect.

This is one of those questions that's really hard to answer with a definite figure.
I've been play GW games since the company began way back in the mid 80's and over that time I've owned almost every game they've produced.
I am a player who takes things to the extreme so I guess my total spend would be higher than the average.
Just as a simple example, throughout my 40k collection are 59 Space Marine Bikes & 9 Attack Bikes. Like I say... a little extreme
I own both A Warhound Titan and a Baneblade which between them retail at around £450 ($860 approx).
In fact, on one single shopping trip to GW Cardiff I spent £654 ($1,253 approx) and then a week later spent a further £120 ($230 approx). Sadly, these 2 large spends were but a small amount of the total figures I currently own.
My guess would be that on my 40k shelves right now there would be somewhere in the region of £3,000 ($5,800 approx) worth of models.
Now, even with a conservative estimate I have probably spent 3-4 times that amount over the past 18-20 years it would bring my total to well over £10,000 ($19,000 approx).
On top of this are countless spends on Scenery, Army Books, Expansion Rules, Codecies, Paints, Sprays, flocks & Brushes, Glues, Modelling Tools and other Gaming Accessories.
So overall I would say I could quite possibly have brought at least one, if not two, decent family sized cars for the amount I've spent on GW products alone.
