    Non-GW minis

Does anyone use non-GW minis? obviously only in friendly games with friends but i was wondering if anyone does, and if so what brands etc.?
Was just wondering because i have some Black tree designs Dwarves, Elves and their equivelent Brettonians- not as good quality but much much cheaper!!

Is this the right forum for this? if not i apologise

I have a Reaper Elf archer captain as a hereticus inquisitor. I rounded her ears, cut off her bow and glued the arms onto a bolter for a bolter/stake combo. She is painted with white face paint and chopsticks in her black hair so she looks asian.

I keep nearly buying warmachine figs coz they look so damn cool, but I haven't much use for them in my Ork army!

In the future I may find myself using Gundam models for, say, Tau battlesuits or the like. They're really great, you can kinda make them walk at the enemy and lift their arms up to shoot. Sure your enemy will laugh and think you're strange, but there's just something fun about that... :p

some of the figure ranges for other games are amazing (although extremely stylised) the reaper minis are great, also the Wargods of Aegypt (sic) minis are amazing, as are warmachine.
