Yesterday I found out why last week my team member in lost our capital in the Lustria campaign. She was facing VC and was using her Dwarfs. At the end of the 6th turn she has her 2 great weapons, crossbows and Gyro left, thats all she started with.
The VC player though forced her into a low points game, because he could just raise more undead while playing, at the end he has more "left" (a only by a few points).
So we lost our capital rather than taking his road becuase he starg armed his way into a lower points game (if my teammate was allowed more points she would have been abile to afford her rock thrower and could have templated the undead to undeath at the begining but becuase his list only had 500 pts to start she was onyl allowed to use 500 pts to start, the game should have been played at 650 pts for last week. This player has a real history of cheap tactics and being a jerk. I would challenge him myself but I cant ever go to GW on wednesday (I always work that day, cant take it off) and thats the only day he ever seems to come in nowdays.
I saw him play once and he was such a jerk about winning. First of all its the lustria campaign but refuses to play if the standerd jungle terrain rules like almost everyone else agrees to. I can see taking his road him not using them but almost the entire table counts as JT when we take back our capital he will not have it, since he didnt fortify it, so my team will have advantage. I'll get our lizard folk player to battle him with lots of Skinks, in jungle terrain with water areas, and the VC player has not ranged attack units, that will teach him.
