Can't help until you explain what you are on about. What is your source material for "old ones"? You say everyone's talking about them; I'm not because I don't know any more than you do.

im not exaclty sure but i keep hearing talk of these old ones that battled ctan and were nearly destroyed way before most other 40k races

So why post? If you have nothing helpful to contribute to the topic then don't post at all. The Old Ones were one of the first races in the 40k universe to evolve and went about the galaxy populating it with their offspring (actually more like genetically engineered races). They ended up going to war with the necrontyr and during the resulting struggle the enslavers and alot of other daemons and other warp spawned evil guys spewed into the material universe because of the warring of so many psychic races in the galaxy they were forced to flee and the C'tans were forced to go into stasis (all of the Old One's sucessor races). If you want to learn more, than a good starting place is the necron codex, you can also try searching the forum for the Old Ones.

This is just about the worst phrased and most unnecessary post I’ve ever seen, not to mention it is placed in the wrong forum section. Fluff questions belong in the Fluff section, which honestly can’t be all that difficult to figure out. Please make sure to check in the future that you’re posting your thread in the correct section.

Secondly, what in the world did the English language ever do to you that you would treat it with such disrespect? Capital letters and punctuation are your friends, not your mortal enemies! Just looking at that sentence makes me feel out of breath and entirely disinclined to answer your question. InquisitorMarcus did you a favour by actually answering your question – frankly I’m amazed he even managed to read it; he must be a very patient and dutiful person – and yet you thank him by calling him a ‘bugger’. That is not acceptable. Don’t do it again or I’ll have to take into use more drastic means than merely closing your thread to prevent flames.
