what do you guys use to carry your gaming stuff around?
a few weeks ago, i was staring at my cardboard box carry case and was sick of it!.. so i starting drawing the schematic for my new box!.. the next day madness overtook me and i went down to the basment and actually started making it with just a hand saw and an electric drill  .... and so a beast was born!
ive still got to finish the top draw and the back cabinet.. the troops draw has magnets all threw it and metal under each minis base, the trouble with the metal miniatures is they are too heavy so im still thinking about how todo them [the top draw] for the back im going to make a area for books and the other half into a drinks cabinet with cigars heh

Very nice case you got there. "Form and function" comes to mind when I see this.
Ive thought of doing a custom case as well. Glad to know I'm not the only crazy guy who builds custom stuff like this.
Great stuff (again).
The guilty laugh while the innocent suffer.............WELL WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!!!
I mostly use an old ice cream-box and those old Warhammer-boxes that you could drag out.
I use a magnetic case.
I use two of those black gw cases with the eagle on them, and a sling over-your-shoulder carry case.
Dark Eldar: 2,461 pts
Vampire Counts Von Castein Bloodline: (Being redone)
Ork Goffs: 873 pts.
After losing my password for my other account I had to start a new account.....I wish I had it.....
I use a Sabol Army Transport Motor Pool, although I bought specific foam for it. Holds my entire Tau army (6 Crisis Suits, 24 Fire Warriors, 28 Kroot, 6 Stealthsuits, 2 Devilfish and 3 Hammerheads) with enough space for a whole 'nother army. Two, if they're small-number ones, like a Grenadier Guard or Deamonhunters army.
Burn the land and boil the sea. You can't take the sky from me.
Member of the Canadian Clan, eh.
Mech Tau Cadre: 2000 points, needs paint and magnets.
Paladins of Avalon (SW):-1500 points, needs paint.
I use a combination of fishing-tackle boxes for regular troops and a larger tupperware storage box for tanks that I lined with foam remnants from the hardware store. Not fancy, but it works.
Wow, nice home-made transport case. For those with out the carpentry skills, the sabol case is really nice and cheaper than the GW cases. I love mine.

main problem with my box, is the beast weighs in at 21 kg ohwell it will keep me fit moving its alright it sits nicly on the car seat ~~~~
all that weight = alot of space in each troops draw it can fit 45 marines, so it could almost fit a full company, and everything else i have warhammer related, all in the same place ... :shifty: [including a bag of doritos] :shifty:
