Welcome to Librarium Online!
i know this sounds like the most newbie thing to say but i don't know wat WS and BS and that sorta stuff means anyone mind telling me?
WS = weapon skill, meaning how good he/she is in close combat, the higher the number the better they are at weilding their weapon they have. WS is used to rolling to hit when in close combat.
BS = balistic skill, meaning how good they are at shooting/aiming. Again, the higher the number the better they are at shooting. But the highest skill possible is 5. The BS is used when rolling to hit when shooting.
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind" -Dr. Suess
If you wanted the other stuff...
S-Strength, how strong the unit is.
T-Toughness, how hard the unit is to hurt.
W-Wounds, how many hits a guy can take before he falls to the ground crying like a baby.
I-Initiative, higher I, higher chance to go first in CC
A-Number of attacks in CC
If I broke any rules just tell me.

BGB - the rulebook. As surprising it might sound, the rulebook has your question covered in detail.
