Does anyone on here still play Epic 40k? Does anyone know where I can still but minitures for Epic (seeing as I can't find them on the on-line store for GM!!!?
http://www.gamesworkshop.com/40kuniv...0k/epic40k.htmHaving said that, I still don't see any mention of models and where to get them, I'd recommend picking up a copy of that Epic 40k magazine, see if it has much info in there... failing that there's always ebayDon't fear Epic fans, Epic is NOT dead! Epic 40,000 is currently being supported by the Fanatic Games division of Games Workshop. This team of diehard gaming madmen make sure that continuing support for Epic 40,000 as well as new Citadel Miniatures, Rules and Publications continue to be produced. So don't despair, Fanatic Games is here for all you Epic 40,000 Commanders!
note: oooh yes i do see details of models, http://www.fanatic-games.com - although it isn't working at the moment :/ keep on giving it a shot
Fear not, Epic is to be reborn in the coming year, can i get a w00ts? ^_^
you can indeed...
Also, apologies for the URL.. I haven't really followed fanatic games that much so wasn't aware of the change!!! you'd think GW would update their main website with it though!!
epic models are soo hard to paint in detal but i play for the fun
i played my first game of epic on sunday using the new epic armageddon rules which are here although they are still experimental
we did 2000 points of eldar vs. space wolves
packing a vampire raider with striking scorpions was a great plan  as was taking two titans; the "steal the initiative" combined with the shoot then move capability let me use them like XV8's
less hate more kittens
yup yup, when i played Orks years back, I had some spare wildboyz that needed painting, the most detailed i got with one of them was painting a little kinda "cloth handle" around his axe...epic models are soo hard to paint in detal but i play for the fun
the most detail any of my orks got was a basecoat and a lighter drybrush with black weapons and that as about it
ya i ended up cuting apart an old brush and leaving like 5 or 6 brissles on it and that was my epic brush
I have no hassle painting Epic mini's. Down to the knee pads, sholder pads (with markings) and so forth. I am actually in the process of converting my SW dreadnoughts.... I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a good gallery of mini's? I need some inspration....
