I'd just like to know any ideas people have for moving their troops from point a to b. Obvisouly the GW carry case would be ideal, but my local hobby/gaming store doesnt stock them, and will be abit before they can order it in. Any ideas on what to use in the meantime?
Thanks for the help.
Plastic tupperware boxes stuffed with tissue. Seriously, it works a lot better then you'd think.
Honestly I use Battleforce boxes, they hold all the models and as long as you're careful with the box the models should be fine. It probably wouldn't hurt to carry some glue along for battlefield repairs just in case.

I came, I saw, I got a different type of Leman Russ.

yer the shoe box and the tupperware container work well, but what do u put inside it? Ive seen people using tissues before, and it did seem to work. I have hurd that sponge works well, and is also relativly cheap.
I have some tackle box trays and stuff that i use.
Warhammer is expensive.
Cheap plastic tool boxes are great, the ones with loads of conpartments for keeping nails etc.
Life is too serious to be taken seriously
Now I've gone ahead and made my own foam case, but yeah I used to go with the "plastic box and tissue" method. Really does work suprisingly well, though you do go through tissues like none other.
Also, there's a store called "The Container Store". It has just about every sized box in the world. You're bound to find something that works.
That army transporter looks really good...there fairly costly but i dunno if they ship to AUS or not. It is proberly worthwhile buying a games workshop case, but thats $75 that i could spend on some heavy support
