what is the cheapest fantasy army (as in currency/money)to field in the game for e.g. least models on the table for the points cost.
just wondering as i cant be bothered to trall through all the army books and i am running low on cash.
any help would be much appreciated!
My guess would be either Bretonnians or Ogres. Both those armies have very points-expensive units and can entirely be built and/or converted in plastic.
I'd have to say ogres. Cheap to buy, easy to paint! :w00t:
I'd have to say Ogres or Bretonnians to i have a bret army around 1500pts and it cost me £86. Battlion box, 2 boxes of knights but i had some extra cash so bough 2 damsels and a lord modal to. Still it was enought.
Also for the ogres i'd buy battlion box, box of bulls and perhaps a tyrant modal but you can just convert a bruiser out of a normal modal.
How much do you have to spend?? and dont forget to buy the army book first.
Vampire counts! No, just kidding
I would agree with Bretts or Ogres, exspensive models pointswise nad most can be converted from bulls.
Chaos, lets face it with a Tzeentch army you can get away with only having 12 models in a 2000 point army.
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
Daemons of Chaos, Hordes of Chaos, Brettonians and Ogres. Ogres are probably the cheapest.
would any of you advise buying a starter box set? thanks for all your help
umm the box sets are around 20% cheaper sometimes. (denends) Then comes with alot of useless stuff time to time. make an army list and see if possible to get the models you want with same price as box set with similar points. Or else get the box set.
