Im intrigued, normally an announcement like this would turn me off to the game... real time 40k? but since it is being developed by relic (a team that has only made 1 flop and 3 hall of fame games to my knowledge) I have a lot of hope for this game.
Yeah as long as it doesn't coincide with some big release it should be alright, I've noticed that most games that coincide with the release of another product suck bad. Take Wolverines revenge, sucked bad, enter the matrix, very glitchy, the hulk, a flaming heap of garbage, need I say more ?

Fuzz - Helen Keller
If it is made by people who care, than it will
Take Starcraft. That game rocked, and it's 6 years old!
Henceforth no man shall set foot upon the world, and all around shall be set sentinals to ward away unwary spacecraft. We must accept that this place is lost to us forever, and is now the eternal habitation of abomination.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>another annoying thing i hate: 47,000 similies in one post. just thoght id throw that in there and see if anybody else hates it as much as i do.</div>
I for one am very excited by this news. RTS are my favorite games to play by far. Can't wait to see this thing hit the shelves.
as long as its along with the 40k lot. like they could make sm and csm weaker like starcreft. and eldar like protoss. Thats all i think aout that.
It should kick ass.
i think it would be awesome if they included EVERY major army. I think that way it would be instantly sold to every 40k player just so they can see how their army fares.
Haemonculus Coven Dark Eldar
Were Relic the ones who did 'Homeworld'?
That was a very good game - until you looked beyond the frilliness and saw that the game engine wasn't very well thought out and had practically no depth at all.
After that realisation, it was only a minorly amusing game in the same way that a lot of games go - easier to play and win if you don't play it properly.
Ho-hum, I certainly hope the 40k game doesn't turn out like that.
i would buy it, but i hope to god that the put every single model and options in there
