I don't know how many people here are as obsessed with this game as I am, but I'm so obsessed that I have even dumped hard earned dollars into every single IA book written, the supplements and even an entire army consisting exclusively of Forgeworld models.
The other day I decided to read the story of the war on Taros in one sitting. Just sit there and read the whole first hundred pages or so of IA 3 and try to commit the important parts to memory.
Well, I didn't get very far. These books have absolutely the worst editing I've ever seen in my whole life. Sometimes there will be three different spelling mistakes in one single sentence. I realize that there is a difference between armor and armour and that English and American are different, however, most of these mistakes are still mistakes in either culture.
I almost want to sit down with a few pads of sticky notes, correct every mistake in the book with an explanation, mail it back to them and then demand my money back for it. It's ridiculous to pay almost $100 USD for something this poorly edited.
Anyone else notice this or is it just me?
It's not just you. I have my copy of IA1 here, and it's riddled with mistakes. Inconsitancies, rule ommisions, spelling errors etc. Which is a shame, as they detract from an otherwise excellent book.
