How do you ppronounce that word. I hear many people at my store pronouncing it gri- nay- diyas. However, should they pronounce it the proper Britisih way, gri- na- dirs. BTW I am sorry if this was already posted
My hunch would be gre-ni-deers (the first e as in "meh", the I there as in nitch, and the double e as in deers).

well, according to answers.com, it's pronounced "grĕn'ə-dÃ®r"
which is how I've always pronounced it

Here in the Golden Horseshoe its pronounced "Gran-a-deers"
I usually hear gren-uh-deers. But I have also hear gren-aid-iers, but i don't think it's right.
