Here's mine which recently happened in a tourney.
A toughness 6 Daemon Prince with 2 wounds left. My opponent has 2 scout marines which swing twice. Need 4's to hit. Get it. Need 6's to wound. BOTH get it. Ok, no problem. I've got a 3+ armor save. Fail both. No need to panic, I've got Feel-no-pain. I fail both AGAIN. Daemon prince dies.
What are the odds of that happening?
((1/2)*(1/6)*(1/3)*(1/2))^2 = 1/5184
Puts the "I got none of my 8 reserve units on turn 2" to shame.
Oh god, mods close this please...
Yeah anyway, what I'm saying is - this has been discussed so so so so many times its a bit tiresome now. Use the search option.
A billion chinese can't be wrong - eat rice.
The most unlikely thing i'vce ever seen with dice is 17 dice standing on each other whilst dancing the charlston, wearing bikinis and singing the opening score to carmen whislt wearing a hippo mask.:shifty:
My friend rolled a heavy flamer against my Sisters Repentia. 2+ wounding, no saves allowed.
He rolled 8 ones.
My repentia then obiltereated his Termies.
My friend's khorne lieutenant got a 1st turn charge on my farseer (my farseer fleeted 6" then he got a big blood frenzy). That combat lasted 11 assault phases (the rest of the game), he had 67 attacks hitting on 4+ wounding on 3+ and a 4+ invul. out of a grand total of 67 attacks about 9 hit me, 2 wounded, and I passed both saves.
His 200 pts Lt. and my 75 pts farseer fought the entire battle and never hurt each other *sigh*.

If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
Yeah, I watched a game where an 8 man deathwing squad with 7 p fists, were killed off in combat by 10 nurglings after 8 rounds of combat. Beat that.
I like this thread, but the mods need to move it to general discussion.
My favorite story is when a bike mounted chaplain rushed my shas o'. I shot him with two plasma rounds and he made the 2+ invulnerables from boosting. He then failed the fusion shot and promptly turned to dust. On top of that, we were playing escalation and the chaplain was the only unit of my opponent's army that made it out on the second turn. The dice just got worse for him from there.
Ask yourself why in the world would you trust a win loss record? Playing them yourself is the only way to tell.
The true joy in the game is playing down to the last model, no matter the odds.
I've got one that I'm proud of:
A mate of mine had just finished his deathwing and played me (Tyranids) in the first game.
At one point my 7 termagants attacked 5 terminators. Shot and killed 2 of them then I killed two in assault, then the other one ran away
oh, the great devourer...
Thread created in the wrong location, and a repeat of a number of other threads.
Here's a few other threads already on the subject.

Thread closed until I get a convincing PM to restart it in the proper location or maybe just add these reponses to one of the other threads mentioned.
EDIT: Thread moved by me and reopened by Grephaun in response to a polite PM by Revolver.
Please keep this thread from degenerating entirely into spam if at all possible or it will no doubt get closed again.
