Hi guys, dumb question but does anyone have any tips for putting together a marine with a lascannon? The supporting arm doesn't seem long enough to reach.... should i be trimming the body down somewhere to reduce the distance to reach?
Thanks in advance
I have noticed this problem with my own minis. The cast quality seems variable and only one of my three is really bad, two will work just by putting the arm holding the lascannon further back on the body, but the last one looks to require greenstuff. However I think I will still need to pin the two that mostly fit.
Bring on all plastic devs GW.
Found my own answer last night - you can bend the lascannon so that it is closer to the other arm. Place your thumb on the inside of the shoulder pad whilst holding upside down and the lascannon will bend wuite happily for you. All plastic devs would be cool but its also reassuring to have a bit of weight behind a few minis!
Nice tip, but where exactly does it bend? I don't want a bendy barrel but don't mind the arm bending (as the wonky one has a poorly moulded arm anyway).Originally Posted by Brother-Librarian Franksi
it bends at the arm just in front of the shoulder pad(heading towards the barrel), the barrel and whole las cannon is still perfectly straight
