    Army Cost

How much did you pay to get your army to where you wanted it? This does not count paints conversions or anyother stuff like that.

This kind of thing can really depend apon how resourcful you are.

My first space marine army (somewhere around 3000 pts) is running in the $450-$650 range right now. But it has alot of shiny new terminators and big fluffy tanks.

But I'm also building a 1500pt Salamanders army. It will contain over 50 models and 5 custom built drop pods. but it's actual fiscal cost (sans 1 dreadnought) is $75, mostly because I've had a long time to find the best deals on ebay and various friends have given me models and bits in exchange for modeling services over the years.

Another example is what kind of army you play with. We've got a necron player who's spent $100 on his army, and has 2000pts worth in models, but the necrons have always had a very good price vs points ratio.

Of course this is all redundant for me because I've probably spent somewhere around $4000 in models and terrain and paints in the last year alone.

But then, I'm trying to keep around 10 armies and a club running, so It's kind of justified.

For my guard im sitting about 2000pts, maybe less, and it cost me about 400 - 500 GBP.
Its all metal steel legion guys, they aint cheap even getting some good deals on ebay, but i think its well worth it as the metal dudes are so ,much better than flimsy plastics IMO.
    Cheers

prolly 700 or so for my 3k+ points of worldeaters. paint not included.

my witchhunters im currently working on im only at maybe 50 bucks so far for around 1k points.

my world eaters was when i was just starting and bought everything at a store. they didnt include KY.
the witchunters are all off ebay so its considerably cheaper.

I'm about $500 U.S. into my 2500 ptDaemonhunters army right now, but My lizardmen are at 1250 pts, and have only cost me about $175. My salamanders that I just started probably won't be as expensive though.
