Like the title says, the box is a freaking rip off. I was looking through some of the 40k stuff at my local GW when I noticed the Sisters Repentia box for $45 which comes with 9 sisters repentia and one mistress. Then I look up to the blisters for them and see you can get a blister with 3 repentia for $10! Thats $30 for 9 all you need now is to convert a battle sister into a mistress or bitz order the mistress for $11. Converting is cheaper, but still the total when buying individual all the pieces in the set comes to $41. What the hell! Has anyone else noticed rip offs like these?

Did you take into account tax, and shipping and handling costs as well? Gaurenteed to bring that total above 45 american...

Yes I did, the price for the box set and tax comes to $48.87 where I live.
The price for bitz ordering the mistress and blisters is $44.53 if you order through GW, you only pay tax, no shipping.
Also its considerably cheaper if you convert an existing battle sister with the $2 whip from the mistress.

The Repentia box is around 20£/37$ here in Sweden... Haha, suckers!
yea but the downside of that is you have to live in sweden... haha suckers!
Guess I can't counter that since I have never lived in another country. But Sweden rules (except for all the taxes of course...). Hail!

No idea. It is possible that Sweden is the second most tax-taking land in the western world.Originally Posted by Reflex
Ok, this stops now since it's off topic.

Do it the cheaper way then, convert the extra Sister you have or what not, but hardly anything to rant and rave about.

See, they brought in the GST tax on... well, all sorts of products which was supposed to lessen ordinary taxes. But then they just left in the normal taxes as well.
as for the main topic, well I slightly disagree with you Toastee, it's highly unusual for a box set to be more expensive then the sum of it's parts. But yeah, I suppose it's not worth making a big deal for.
