does anyone know if the army builder software is any good?
If it's the one I'm thinking of, then no.
Generally none of them are. Either you have to make your own, or the ones they have avaliable are 2nd ed. and not even correct for that.
Couple that with everything being named wrong and you've got the army builder.
But if yours is any defferent, do tell. I've gone through 4 and none serviced well.
Post your army lists in the ARMY LIST section! Not that hard!
I find it extremely useful. Army Builder 3 has the 4th edition rules and (at least for SM, which is what I play) it is in synch with the 4th ed Codex. To me it is awesome because I can cycle through tons of different variations of units and squads, tweaking them and retweaking them, in no time at all. Since I play it WYSIWYG, it is important for me to figure out what gear I want on everyone, because once it is glued it is a part of that model infinitum.Originally Posted by alexpape7
Not to mention it has some spiffy options for printing out your army roster. It'll even print it with pics of your models!
Highly recommend it.
Stormcrows Chapter of the Space Marines
Don't bother with the GW army builder, a lot of people can been complaining about the lack of updates for recently re released armies.
However all is not lost:
You can either spend money on the full version or down load the demo with which you can only create an army of 3 squads but the programme itself is good.
Equipped with the latest XV25 Stealth Armour these troops are the 'love wolves' of the Tau army, operating independently of other formations.
This cock up is bought to you by GW Australia.
you can input your own army lists and download those made by others, although i recomend you check against your own codex. its free, which is another bonus.

It has almost every table top wargame out there, is constantly updated, and gives you the ability to actually edit what is displayed for units, items, abilities, etc.
I used version 2 before, and use version 3 now as well.
When you lisence it, does it cost money? If so, How much?Originally Posted by Spittle72
when I downloaded the demo version of wolflair I can't open it, it says it could not initialise installation, because the file size expected was different to the file size received. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Check out my Codex: Farmyard Animals here!
If anyone wants any kind of help writing fluff for any kind of GW army just ask.
Sounds like it might be that not all the file got downloaded. Have you
tried downloading again? Or perhaps the one you downloaded isn't the
right one for your operating system?
