Would YOU get the new catalog?

Well, I just wanted to ask the people, would YOU get the new catalog?

If terrorists ask you "Do you have a bullet through your head?" say proudly, with dignity, "No, I do not. Go fish."

No, I'll not be getting it. I've never actaully bought one ever.

I've never seen the point to having one. IIRC, they have no fluff, or rules, just mail order numbers and stuff right?

I can get them easy without having to buy a book for them.

    No thanks,

I don't buy catalogs (they should be free).

If GW wants me to see what's all available I'll be glad to accept one, or if needed,
    I'll look on the internet.

I would buy the catalogue. Money is tight right now but if possible I will get it.

I use the cataloge quite a bit to order bitz, think about conversion ideas, etc. It is much handier to have everything right in front of you rather than flicking through various web pages to get to what you want to look at. It is also a plus that I don't have to go to the local store to peruse it with people hovering around me. I like to leasurely view it from the comfort of my home.

    Cheers,

    -Mike

Never buy them, local store gets one in each year for store use. I just use that.

Do they actually do the full catalouges any more, with seperate part numbers and a booklet price list? The last one of those i have is for 2000.

Yeah for the last couple of years they have been putting them out. I got the hard back one from a few years ago and it is really nice. It is a great reference tool if you do a lot of conversions or bitz ordering. If you don't it is probably not worth it.

Like I said the benefits over the web are you have everything right in front of you. The other being you are able to peruse it from the confort of your own home.

The price is actually pretty reasonable for the quality and size of it. It truly is a nice catalogue!

    cheers,

    -Mike
