I was working on converting a few plastic skinks for my Red Crest army. While I was trying to cut off a skink head, the cat tried to jump into my lap. I didn't see him there and he startled me. Which caused my exacto blade to slip and I stabbed my finger in the process. I was bleeding so bad I had to goto the hospital and got 2 stiches in my finger. I was just wondering if anyone else out there has "sufferd" for thier hobby in such a way?

Stinks to be you. I think that we've all stabbed something in our time with this hobby.
I stabbed my crotch once. Did that happen to any of you?:x
If terrorists ask you "Do you have a bullet through your head?" say proudly, with dignity, "No, I do not. Go fish."

LOL! Thankfully not; I've never had any accidents at all. But then again, I've done no modelling, conversioning and little painting

The only cure my older brother had for cuts was that he used super-glue to seal up the wound before too much blood got out. It's not a bad idea actually and what he did was he squeezed the skin together (of where that was cut) and he sealed it shut. Quite effective until you hit the showers though....................

But I said; so far in my miniature collection I've done no conversions or modelling. And little painting. But I am very careful
about using super glue on cuts, thats what boxers do when they get those nasty split skin on their heads, and it works really well to, it just makes your finger crunchy (or head) ^_^
