What type or player/painter are you?
GW: Stay true to the models they produce. No "big" conversions, houserules or other modifications to the game.
GS: Greenstuff. You love to modify what they produce - to the better of course.
GT: Grand Tournament. You play the game to become the best. It doesn't really matter how the army look of if you play "cheesy" - do whatever it takes win. :ninja:
I'll go for the GS-type. Modifications and improvement! :w00t:
I would say I am more of a theorist than an acutal player/painter atm. I will definately be a GSer though once all my purchases from sundry sources have arrived! I like mucking around with things and changing them
So there I was...
Buying things after alcohol consumption is a very interesting way to get into the hobby!
I play so it looks presentable, don't modify many models at all, and dont use a cheesed out IW army...
Im a GW, i only use mostly small coversions, head swaps weapon swops etc.
WELL SAID, NO MORE SQUATS THEY ARE DEAD GET OVER ITOriginally Posted by artificer
I used to be a GT but that got boring cause my bro was a GS so i just womped him. Now I'm a GS too, it is actually more fun. So I play daemon hunters of course. What can u convert more than an inquisitor.
Necorn Work In Progress Click Link
I consider myself a GW type o player. I am thinkin bout convertin a blood pact army, however, which will be a first, so maybe a GS for this army. Man, now Im not sure....
I'm a GW player and I haven't made any conversions yet. But, I have made a damaged Necron Warrior as an objective marker
what kind of gamer am i... i am one that never has enough money and time to spend doing what i love to do...
thats play games and build pointless armies... and do anything an everything involved in GW...
I'm probably a GS type. For the moment anyway.
I'm relatively new to the hobby, and so I've only had a few games, but so far the bit that has really grabbed me is the modelling, converting and painting side of the hobby. Especially the converting.
Atm I'm working on a Dreadnought lit from within, and converting a venerable dreadnought out of various other bits. My big thing atm though is trying to convert an attack bike to more of a 'chariot' style to fit with my celt themed SM army...
So yes, definitely a GS-er
I don't really have the time to be either a GT or a GS so i'm definitely GW
