All wargames have rules about how to play the game ( Troops move 6 inch's ect) but there is no code of conduct as such, as in how you treat other players. I have always believed it was just common sense but some of the way i have seen a small numbers of gamers play left me wanting to kill them. Please keep in mid that 98% games i have had were good fun, but when people start cheating, throwing dice at your tanks and yelling at me the fun stops.
So this is my question, What is the best way to go about playing the game?
This sounds like a dumb question, but i think with the size of the game now it needs to be put down in writting.
Question all that you see
i agree with youcompleatly it is the 1% out of the 99 that realy annoy me. but i think that having a code of conduct wouldnt help much. those people have that kind of attitude no matter what unfournatly.
but the main ideas that i have for any game are the most cleche.
1. remeber its a game: no matter what, its called a game to have fun. if your getting pissed off, or resorting to cheating then you are taking it too seriously and need to chill out.
and 2: treat others like you'de like to be: (like i said, these would be cheche) but it is the truth. for friendly games people shouldnt get pissed off. allow acouple of mistakes to slide occasionaly, and just be relaxed. people tell me that if they are playing a game they'de rather be doing it with me. a friendly attitude will get people that want to play you.
