I was at my local game shop on Thursday night when the manager pulled several copies out of the weekly shipment from GW!
Needless to say, I pounced!
Check you local stores if interested, the release date on the BL page is 07JAN07, and Amazon lists it as 26DEC06, so I don't know if this is a goof up (which I can't imagine ) or if it's been released early.
share and enjoy.

Ah cool o_o Not seen it in the UK though? Can anyone tell me if it is? I've not been able to get to a GW for almost 4 weeks now ;_;
I bought the Ultramarines Omibus when that came out, so theres no reason not to buy this one....considering how annoying BL can be with putting books out of print way too damn early, lol.

Slightly off at a tangent, but....
Having read the books would you say that 'Sharpedon' just has his arachnid legs (Inc the metal one)? Or has he still got human/marine legs as well?
Only asking as I've been toying with the idea of a conversion for sometime.
Yes it is out in the UK. At a much better price than buying separately.

I know I just picked it up a few days too. It is a great read so far.
Mod's comment: Same as above. Highlight for spoiler:
In answer to your question from what I have read so far it seems he has only arachnid but I need to finish before I am sure.

It’s out here in Denmark as well – haven’t bought it, though, since I already own the three original books and don’t want to pay the price only for the addition of a foreword by Ben Counter. It’s a steal for the money if you haven’t read it yet, though, and a very entertaining series too.
I had a look at black Library’s homepage, and I think the confusion about the date of publication is due to a bit of a mess-up on their part; the book is listed for release in January on the front page, yet if you check the ‘coming soon’ list it isn’t found here at all, rather you need to look under already published books where it is listed as a December release.
January is dedicated Space Wolf Month, it would seem. ^_^ And then there’s of course also the new Soul Drinker novel being published in April, yay.
As for your question above, highlight for spoiler:
It’s my impression that Sarpedon has only arachnid legs, four pairs to be precise. He is described at some point as being ‘an arachnid centaur’, meaning he would have the lower body of a spider from the waist down, and hence no human legs.
Another question I find interesting for conversion purposes is what kind of arachnid he’s supposed to resemble, and how much of an arachnid’s body he actually possesses – the entire body minus head, or only the legs? I’ve seen a conversion with a full spider body and frankly didn’t like it that much, so I’m leaning towards the latter.
