They aren't too poweful. They can be easily beaten as any army.
"They say the Darkness consumes you. They don't say what happens after It's done."
Yeah, but that's just fluff.
They're fine as an army, perfectly balanced. I'd be surprised to see GW do a whole redo, just an update.
In game, the Necrons advantages are set off by a number of huge disadvantages (in the form of phase-out and their ineffectiveness against anything with a 2+ save). All I have to say is, "At least the whole Necron army isn't fearless anymore", and leave it at that.
yea, if you mean their fluff then yea i agree, their fluff is just soooo overpowered, in the actual game no i dont think theres a problem.

Necrons are pushovers.
I don't like playing against them though. Too boring.
My blast template of S10 AP2 will toast all terminators.
As for fluff wise, well, it seems like everything is gonna destroy the universe and eat all the humans. Lets see... Awakening necrons led by Star Gods, the Tyranids, Chaos... umm... there are a couple I am forgetting.
Its a standard tactic for stories, they are too lazy to think of a truly original enemy, so they just make something "unstoppable", but make some reason as to why they haven't destroyed the universe (Necrons still awakening, Chaos are held back still, and the Tryanids... seem to be getting lazy).
I play my 40k with friendly fire.
Finally fixed the link!
