I never would have thought of doing that if I was a lictor, and to add to it that's a sucky way to go for the marine.

They did. Like, years and years ago. An Inquisitor/Space Marine short film. It was godawful, lol. Some of the older guys here might remember.

I, personally, wouldn't want to go against a Lictor-they are bloody scary!
But surely a Space Marine standing right in front of a Tyranid might have done something, I mean it's not kind of like If i remain still it's sure not to hurt me is it?

Pretty sure it's the kill sync for the lictor. So the space marine has already been beaten in combat and it's just a cool move they do to finish them off.

Anyone else with DoW will know what i'm talking about.

Yeah, it is probably a cool useless move they do, like my Chaos Chosen i got in the campaign, they like kill everyone in 1 hit, but sometimes they take the head of the guy and give 3-4 cool hit lol
