The other day I was thinking, and I thought, "Why are all 40k models generally modeled to be right-handed/eye dominant?"
I mean this is quite puzzling. Not everyone in the US army, or any other army/armed force is right-handed or left-handed or left/right-eye dominant.
Yes I know that there are some models that are using their left hands for some things, and it also appears that there are some ambidextrous models too.
I guess what I'm getting at is why are tac squads and 'cron warriors etc right-handed and eye dominant.
I know there'd be no variation in the necrons since they're machines and are pretty much clones.
because actually most of the population are right handed.
Because...The other day I was thinking, and I thought, "Why are all 40k models generally modeled to be right-handed/eye dominant?"Is true.actually most of the population are right handed.
Also keeping everyone the same handed (my grammar is great isn't it?) is also cheaper than mixing it up within the moulds.
They do have left handed modles it's called a convershon.
If you do things right people wont be sure if you have done anything at all.
Probably slightly easier to rank up as well if they are all right handed
im sure its purely due to ease of producing models.
In modern armies there may not be a bias towards either right or left handed use but some military systems, such as Greek hoplites and Roman legions, would have only worked if everyone held their shields, swords, spears, in the same hands
