Saw someone ranting about this somewhere else so thought I'd have a good rant too ...
Did they make a hodge-bodge job of the new Orks and Goblins Army Book or what? I look at the new Eldar book and I see the lot of effort and thought that has gone into making it. I see a well thought army; I see balence; I see good background stories littered throught it.
And then the new Orks and Goblins ... what on Earth were they thinking? Of money probably: "If we bring out the army sooner, we'll get money sooner!" or they were attempting to get the stuff out for Skull Pass. Sheesh. The models look great, but what were they thinking when they gave them their stats? Common Goblins have a higher Leadership than Night Goblins? You what?! How does that work?
I could rant all day, but I'm going to spare you the pain of reading my post. Instead, I'm going to ask you what you think about the new Orks and Goblins: bad, terrible, worse? Could GW have put together a much better Army Book? Did they really skimp on this one?
EDIT: Whoops, this should really be in Orks and Goblins discussion; any Mod care to move it?

Yes as always ,the devs tweaked bits and bobs.
Some units ,(mainly the NG special) have completely changed in the way they are now used.
But when the GW devs dont explian the new ways of using the units clearly ,and cannot even get the PV right for units in the back of the book sample armies..
I too belive we have yet again got an amaturish rushed publication.
So far there has been 37 seperate rules queries across the 6 forums I look at about O&G
army book content.
Not good is it?
Heptzul, night goblins have had a lower leadership than common goblins for some time. Night goblins do however have a higher point of initiative. I do think they have made a mistake with night goblin points though, common goblins now cost a point more than previously but come with light armour. Night goblins point cost has gone up accordingly but then get nothing really for that point.
I think the book is ok but then I am only really interested in the army list section, the fluff is good to read but pretty samey for most orcs (ie got big waagh, went rampaging then died).
Helper monkey, bring me beer and donuts
