So I was cleaning out my hobby area and found these models I bought about 22 years ago or so. If I remember correctly, they're the first miniature releases from the line. The ninja bad guy is missing his arms, but everyone else is intact.
I don't know what to do with them, though. Maybe I should eBay them since the movie's out?
Wow those are old, but still cool in a retro sorta way. I'd use them for Warhammer Historical if I had some.
I remember going to Great Escape in Nashville. My friend David bought TMNT #3, the first edition of the book. We all gazed in awe as he removed it from its plastic wrapper.
I can't remember the name of the characters in the 3rd picture. I can see the comics--I had several of them but still can't recall their names.
Master Splinter = Eshin Assassin:ninja:

TURTLES well first I'll point out those aren't quite as old as you think... they are early to mid 90s and came out with the second gen cartoon of them. The minis are fun and there was a rule book for them at one time if you can find it... if I remember right it was a small boxed set...
I am sure you no longer have the box but if you could find the rules and decide to E-bay them they could do OK for either a new fan with the new(WAY TOO SHORT) movie, or some of us older collectors that remember seeing all 3 movies and the cartoons before we left high school and got forced into the real world

Here's what I found....link.
The year would be right, and I do remember the ad saying that these were the first models released, so that would match up with what Dark Horse minis is saying here, timewise that is.
if you do decide to ebay them, please pm me the link, thanks.
OK I can believe it then... but I was sure that those were the same ones I bought brand new in High School and painted in HS...
Either way I might be interested if they hit Ebay as well
