Just out of curiousity, what is the smallest type of Imperial titan.
That is not dead which may eternal lie,
for in strange aeons even death may die.
I believe that's the warhoud titan.
Titans come in general types, the smallest being scout Titans, the only class of scout titan AFAIK to appear in fluff, and certainly the only one to have a model is, as van smallhausen says, a warhound
Everything you have been told is a lie!
Yeah, as the guys above have said, the Warhound is the smallest class of Titan. Its a scout Titan, and as such bears the lightest weaponry and armour. Though to be fair it still weighs in excess of 400 tonnes and has enough firepower to lay down some serious hurt.
What about the old Knight Titans? It has been a long time since I played Epic, but I seem to recall paladin knights and lancer knights that were smaller than warhounds. Did a cursory web search but didn't find much info. Can anyone help me out? Am I just making this up?
Yeah the good ol' Knight Houses of Old Epic. They are still in the fluff, but they don't appear to often (I believe they are mentioned in the 3rd Armageddon War codex). IIRC they arn't classified as titans per say, more of a support robot-thing. I don't remember really.
I believe the warhound aka. Scout Titans are the smallest titans.
I thought that Knights were support robots for the titans.

knights towered above most large vehicals but were only about 2/3rds the size of a war-hound <Link ME> . I think they were comon on more techno-advanced worlds and belonged mostly to noble houses. I think they were likened to a 1 man tank with a very specific weapon array ( somthing like metal guns and turbo lasers) And they were also in use for the eldar exodites.

Yeha they weren't very common. They were a lot more powerful than a tank, but not as much as a Warhound. A bit smaller but not by much either.
