    graduation/ B-day gift. What sould i get.

O.k. so next week i'm suppost to get like some super big gift sence its my graduation and my B-day.

I can't decide on what to get. I collect chaos and SM.

here are some ideas I've come up with.
    - thunderhawk.
    - Khorne dreadnought
    - chaos fighter/ bombers (chaos flyers.)
    - chaos ogryn
    - one or two dreadclaws
    - chaos renegade militia.
    - a gaming table.
    - hierophant(can turn it into some crazy choas warmachine... or something.)
    - chaos termie lord
    - custom ubber daemon prince of my own dezine(bits)
    - bits for custum daemons
    - bits and minies for custum chosen or possessed.
    - some cool warmachine stuff to use as chaos or SM.

Please add anything that could also be a possibility. also, it would be really helpful if people could say, pick thier top 5 favorite items to give me a better clue on what to get.

How about another hobby? Start up Hordes or Warmachine, get a good amount of models. That or a gaming table would be nice (or $$ to make your own).

Well that sounds like fun, but I've already got so much stuff i got to paint already, i don't want to get distracted. cuase then I'll never get my stuff done. Maybe some other day. Although i guess i can get some warmachine models and maybe dual use them.

As for the gaming table, I would ask for some stuff like FW trenches, bridges, foam and the like materials. Also as part of the gift i could force my brother(who is all into making train scenery) to help me put it together.

Buy me and Cal some cookies.
Thats ok, I would hate for you and Cal to become fat.

You could always ask for computer stuff.

Well, I dont like computer games and I,m getting a new laptop anyway cuase my old one broke. I'd get some Ipod stuff, but i think i'm good on that for now.

Well, cash is always nice, they want to give me something. cash isn't really an issue, its just like 'name that thing you really wanted and you get it for graduation'. Sigh, if only i could ask for a girlfriend.

So any suggestions from the list. So far Its been suggested that i get warmachine stuff and/or the gaming table.

Well... Kuffy did his homework on time, and I think Firedrake drew a nice picture. Misanthrope also rescued us from an enchanted Ninja Bee.

    I had one, and I didn't pay a cent.

Though i mean a new one, one that is actually worthwhile.

Well, you probably have plenty of gamin stuff as it is, why not as for say... money towards a car, money for a trip, or something wild. This is a opportunity to get something different and new.

Woah! Don't do that, Karmoon - the mere mention of that bee sends me into some Nam-esque flashbacks. ::twitch, twitch:::

Nice!? Are you kidding me? That thing still gives me nightmares.

I say this with full readiness to deflect incoming rotten fruits and vegetables, but with a gift with the implied magnitude of a combined graduation and b-day gift, perhaps you should find something other than little plastic men to get with it

    ::ducks::

So seriously, I was in a similar boat, with my birthday and graduation being at the same time, and I was given a sum of money with which to pick my present the likes of which I had never even considered. Given that I was starting music school that fall, I chose things to help me along those lines, including a narrowly-justified stereo system that I still haul around all these years later. I thought about getting a new 40k army with it back then, but since I ended up selling all my 40k stuff about 2 years later, it would have been a waste.

I guess my point is to at least give a nod to the significance of the occasion and give it some serious thought.

    Otherwise, thunderhawks are sweet!
