Recently it stroke me, that after the initial flare up of visitors many sites are simply forgotten.
I think I have an idea on how to change this. I called it "Wargames link exchange program".
The basis is that you give the name of your site and what it is about and then the people whose sites share the same thematics can contact each other to exchange links - this is that one gives the link to the other's site on his links page and the other one does the same for the first.
Idea is simple, but to have it working correct there have to be a few rules:
-No content that is deemed sexually explicit.
-Cursing is only allowed if at minimum level.
-The link exchange is done by a two-sided agreement. If one side does not agree, the other does not have to.
-You are freely allowed to have link to the others site on yours, but this does not mean that the other person must have link to yours, if he does not want to. In such case, you should contact that person and if you don't come up to the agreement, you must remove the link to his site from your links pool.
-English please, if possible.
-Do not try to force others into putting the link to your site if they dont want to.
-No links to commercial sites, unless unavoidable.
Rest is pretty much common sense.
That made no sense to me what-so-ever.
Why do you give someone a link to your site? Its not really an Exchange Program, its just something that should be in the Adverts Section. The rules are also basicly normal site rules. I think thats what you meant anyway. . .
why would a wargames site be sexually explicit? that is covered in LO rules anyway

Thread closed since there are plenty of these around on the net already. Search google for the Wabbithole of TheWarp fame.
