At my local GW today, the staff had organised a massive battle with around 6 players per side, all with their own models. It was turn 4 of the game and my Chaos Sorcerer finally managed to summon the squad of 8 Bloodletters i'd had in reserve all game. Unfortunately, the only thing they could charge into was a squad of 5 GK termies, but i proceeded to do so in a hope that i could inflict something before my squad died. The GK's attacked first, completely fluffing their attacks and only managing to inflict 2 wounds, which i managed to save with my 5+ invulnerable daemon save. My daemons attacked back, needing 5s to hit, with 3 attacks each due to them having charged, managed to wound the termies 5 times, to which my opponent rolled 5 5+ invulnerable saves... and failed them all :w00t:. So even though specially trained anti-daemon terminator veterans got to attack my daemons first, they all fell without me taking a single casualty, so much for the Ordo...
Travel half way across the Galaxy for that kind of performance? Probably jet lagged.

still very lucky and cool
Why did the Bloodletters need 5's to hit the Grey Knights? As far as I'm aware, Grey Knight WS is not 9...

Ummm...blood letters own anything in armor...it wasnt that far of a stretch. With eight blood letters you should have gotten 5-6 wounds...granted he flubbed his saves but it wasnt too amazing. My favorite was when my hammer head pie plate covered a 5 man termie squad that deep struck in... wounded all 5...he rolled 5 1's for his armor saves. Thats a 1 in 7776 chance of happening. The biggest statistacal flub of all time for me was when i managed to destroy a falcon.

I'm a long-time DH player, and the fact that daemons kick the living crap out of us is, unfortunately, not news. In fact, your normal, vanilla Astartes force does a better job against daemons than we do. Sad, but true.
ninjabackhand: point and click, again, really? even after i give you an military term "shock tactic" you still call it point and click.

Bloodlettesr still kick ass though.
Equipped with the latest XV25 Stealth Armour these troops are the 'love wolves' of the Tau army, operating independently of other formations.
This cock up is bought to you by GW Australia.
meh, I've see better, like 2 grots outshooting a swuad of fire warriors, in rapid fire range, that was hilarious! all the 1's the fire warriors rolled on the wounding was just to funny...
anyway you would have thought those GK could have just prayed the daemons away..
