Who would like gamesworkshop to sell ''Conversion Boxs''? Basically they would include a variaty of metal and plastic componants/sprues that are army specific. IE a space marine box containing some heavy weapons, different heads, more interesting shoulder pads and all sorts of tank acceseries. Personaly i think it would be a pretty good idea, it would allow us budding modellers to have a go more often.

A Promise to a dead man means nothing.

I havent still got the reply I had to an E-mail I sent to GW but it went something like this.
" Thankyou for posting this E-mail. As of concerning the Alternate Head box, we have no plans to make any in the near future. Although for Inquisitor we will start making Alternate Heads. "
    Something like that. . .

By not providing extra goodies to customers GW forces you buy their overpriced boxed sets. If people were to start making their own professional quality army HQ's by conversion, GW would lose the 10 or so dollars they make on each special (ie, captains, sergeants, etc) figures. It's unfortunate because every player wants to make his army unique and their own and but corporate revenues are getting in the way... It's not like they aren't making a killing anyways! haha

THe box is a very good idea. I would love to get extra parts to individualize my army without having to buy whole other boxes just for a single freaking part!!!

Over the summer, GW released "Chaos Mutant" Bags. They were a Warhamemer Zimbie Sprue, a 40K Ork Boy Sprue, a 40K Catachan Jungle Fighters Sprue, and a Chaso Mutation Sprue. And they were only $9! Nine bucks for about $30 worth of stuff! Unfortunetly, they are all gone now...

I really like the idea of a convesion box. It'd be great for things like Tyranids and Chaos. Especially tyranids. I'd hate to have to buy another model just to get some big wings for my guys.
"Can you put that in a memo and title it '***** I already know!'"
    ~Sarge

Church: "Ok, so we're agreed? You first!"
Sarge: "Get on with it, Griff."
Griff: "I'd just like everyone to know: that I suck."
    Church: "And?"
Griff: "And that I'm a girl..."
    Church: "What else?"
Griff: "And I like ribbons in my hair, and I want to kiss all the boys."
Sarge: "This has to be the best surrender of all time."

That would be so cool but the reason they dont is for us to pay over-priced(even for GW standards) mail order bits
