    I wouldn't worry about it.

As for best HQ, or the one that I will use the most, Probably Corteaz, but I've got a Kaldor Draigo on order, too.

I can honestly say almost every HQ looks attractive. Each have their ups and downs. At 1500, Draigo or Corteaz, 100%.

Only got to skim the codex but my choices for best are:
Xenos Inquisitor for low point games, power sword, power armor, rad grenades. Cheap and awesome (especially with the model I wanna get ).
Grand Master: Tough and with rad and psychotroke grenades, very nice CC + grand strategy shenanigans

Honestly, there're a lot of good HQs. Obviously, the FOC modifying hqs are the best if you want to play their particular armies--I'm planning to play a Paladin army with Draigo, so I might pick him. The basic Grand Master is pretty good, though, honestly, the Librarian is probably the best of the generic HQs. Brother Captain is one of the few that is just clearly not worth it (since the GM is only 25 points more, and Grand Strategy is clearly worth 25 points).

I think I'll vote for Draigo, since he's the HQ I intend to play.
Once again, the conservative, sandwich-heavy portfolio pays off for the hungry investor!

I love the the bog standard Inquisitor. They have a lot of options and are pretty cheap. Will be great for thoes lower point games.

In higher points games Grand Masters will be pretty sweet.

Ordo Xenos Inquisitors can be used for cheap rad grenades if you wish. So many lovely choices in this codex. Shame about the Brother-captain he is never gunna get used.

Imo, mordrak is the coolest HQ choice in the codex. he comes with all of the benefits of a GM, and has the ability to bring ghost terminators. plus, he can's be singled out in combat because he is part of the squad. He deepstrikes on the first turn and doesn't scatter, which will really scare your enemy. All in all, he is the best GM option.

If you're not using the Ghost Knights, a regular GM is better than Mordrak imo - mostly due to the better invul and the fact that you can stick Rad/Blind Grenades on him. Rad Grenades + Hammerhand + Might of Titan (if you bring a Librarian too) = instagibbed marines.

Personally I voted for the Grand Master. A solid character even if taken with its standard gear. And the Grand Strategy rule is one of the best things in the codex IMO. The ability to be able to make different things scoring/scouting/have other bonuses is great. Especially since you choose before deployment, so you can tweak your army just that little extra bit depending on the mission/opposing army/terrain set up etc.

The Librarian is a close second for me. Has got some great utility powers for buffing your squads into close combat monsters, and also has powers that provide protection.

Not a big fan of the Brotherhood Champion. His fluff and Herioic Sacrifice are pretty cool, but with only a single wound, the only plausible way I see of playing him is to throw him at the biggest character your opponent has and hopefully take them down with you.

Inquisitors are great little characters for their points, very customisable. Cheap way to get some servo skulls into your army and help prevent alpha strikes. I also see them as being used as grenade caddies, to get those new shiney grenades into your lists for minimum costs.

Of the special characters, I find Coteaz to be the most useful. Cheap, helps get you first turn and helps defend against reserves trying to arrive onto the board near you. Also pretty much the only way of fielding a proper Inquisitorial army. I have mixed feelings about Crowe. Purifiers as troops is awesome! But hes not an independant character, and anyone charging him gets massive bonuses. All I can see happening is Crowe being included in lists to get Purifier troops, then hiding Crowe at the back of the table out of LOS.

I voted Mordrak simply because he has all the awesome qualities of a grand master, but with a hammer Not to mention the non-scatter deep strike with his bodyguards is simply amazing if you planned on having a GM and a squad of termies anyways!

I voted for Kaldor Draigo. reason? he has AWESOME combat abilities, has a AWESOME SS and the titan sword which doubles his strength vs Daemons is AMAZING! also Kaldor means that Dreadknights can claim Objectives! (or scout, or anything else that the "Grand Stratergy" rule does!)
